Phase 3 approved for Moline road project

Moline city leaders voted Tuesday night to approve a contract with Valley Construction Company to revamp 5th Avenue between 11th and 14th Streets. It will be the 3rd phase of the streetscaping project which includes replacing the street, utilities and adding new street lights, benches and trash receptacles.

The project will cost nearly $1.5 Million. No word on when the work will begin.
