More businesses, jobs and even homes will soon be landing in the Quad Cities.
Moline city leaders approved a plan Tuesday night to annex land around the Quad Cities International Airport to the city of Moline. The agreement will open up 400 acres of land to new businesses and homes. Businesses around the airport will also get lower sewer and water rates from the city.
Officials said work in the area could begin by the end of this year.
