Last minute Shoppers rush in to buy supplies

While some businesses shut down because of the weather, Ace Hardware in Davenport said mother nature keeps their doors open.

"We restock more where some of the big box stores are stocking up for summer items now, and they're not going to bring shovels and salt and stuff in,"said Mark Hayman, owner of Ace Hardware in Davenport.

Store clerks said they've been busy all day with last minute shoppers coming in buying shovels and salt.

They said many customers don't even get much needed supplies, until the storm is already here.
