Burlington Man Charged with Murder

A Burlington man is in the Rock Island County Jail, facing charges of first degree murder.

38-year-old Chico Newman was arrested in Moline Tuesday, in connection with his wife's murder.

Crystal Newman was found dead inside their Burlington home back in August. Investigators determined she had been shot.

Newman remains in Rock Island County on $1,000,000 bond.
