The Clinton Fire Department put out a structure fire in Clinton Monday night.
According to the fire department the structure on 14th Ave caught fire around 8:00PM.
They tell us when firefighters arrived there was heavy smoke and fire showing on the front wall near the front door.
No one was injured, and all of the people inside were able to escape safely.
According to the Clinton Fire Department firefighters had the blaze under control in about 30 minutes.
They also estimate the damages for the structure are $35,00 and $10,000 for contents.
The Clinton Fire Department determined that the cause was most likely an electrical short in an exterior light.
The Red Cross is helping the victims.
