Get your appetite ready as the Quad Cities first ever Restaurant
Week kicks off Sunday.
"It gives us all an opportunity to showcase our
different culinary characteristics and our different venues," says David Requet
of Gendler's Black Ram Restaurant in Rock
Island.
More than 25 restaurants will take part through March 2.
Many hot spots will offer a variety of discounts, including
two-for-one lunches for $15 and $25 multi-course dinners.
Restaurant managers hope this new experience will draw in a
different crowd.
"We'll see some people we normally don't see and
hopefully we do it well enough to regain that diner again," says Marc Studer,
GM of Captain's Table in Moline.
