Geneseo K-9 Passes Away

Geneseo Police are mourning the loss of one of their own.

K9 Bobby passed away yesterday due to a work related illness.

Bobby suffered from a twisted intestine, he underwent emergency surgery at Bettendorf Animal Hospital where vets determined his condition was non-recoverable and he passed away.

Bobby joined the Geneseo Police Force in 2007.
