Contract negotiations between Dixon teachers and the school board could soon come to a head.
The board is proposing a 24% wage cut, because the superintendent said the district isn't getting enough money from the state.
But union leaders said the board is sitting on a multi-million dollar surplus.
The two sides are set to meet Monday night. If no agreement is reached, teachers could go on strike as soon as Wednesday.
