Former Clerk Charged with Stealing Thousands from Muscatine

A former Muscatine clerk has admitted to stealing thousands from the city.

Diana Fry pleaded guilty today to taking more than $15,000 over three years while she worked in the city's finance department.

She was fired last March.

The plea agreement calls for her to pay at least $8,500 of it back by her sentencing in April. If she doesn't, she could go to prison.
