Bill tabled in Iowa limiting restraints on pregnant inmates

A bill to limit the use of restraints on pregnant inmates has been tabled in the Iowa House.

That's because the State D.O.C. and law enforcement officials have agreed to follow strict guidelines.

The updated policy would prohibit inmates at least 22 weeks along from being restrained unless they posed an immediate risk.
