A Burlington teacher faces misdemeanor charges after a school lockdown last week.
Police arrested Blackhawk Elementary school 5th grade teacher Lauren Moyers. Charging her with filing a false report to public safety.
Court documents say Moyers told police she found a note in the hallway which read "Shooting 1:45 my dad, Blackhawk"
Surveillance video showed Moyers was lying about where she found the note. When confronted Moyers told police she found the note in her classroom but didn't want her students to get in trouble.
Police are still investigating the case.
