(AP) A 17-year-old girl working at a restaurant in Iowa City has been accused of stabbing a customer.
The girl was charged Tuesday with attempted murder. She is being held on a $500,000 bond.
A criminal complaint says the girl attacked a woman Monday at Red Pepper Deli & Grill. Police say the girl stabbed the woman several times with an 8-inch knife from the restaurant's kitchen.
The customer's injuries, including to her left hand and left elbow, are not life-threatening.
Police are not elaborating on a motive, but investigators say the teen and woman may have a history.
It's unclear whether the teen will be charged as an adult.
