A former Davenport alderman is on trial, accused of threatening a neighbor with a gun.
Monday, Keith Meyer decided to represent himself.
The 71-year-old is accused of threatening his neighbor with a gun back in November. Police said the fight started after Meyer built a speed bump in the driveway he shares with his neighbor.
Meyer served as Davenport's 3rd ward alderman for several terms, but lost in 2007.
Jury selection continues Tuesday.
