Free heart screenings

Are you at risk for heart disease?

Local experts say heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women.

Trinity Rock Island will hold three free heart screenings this week, so you can find out your risk level.

Experts say things like exercise and awareness can help prevent a life–threatening problem.

"So there's a lot that people can do. Cardiovascular disease is very preventable. But it's important to know your numbers and get to your physical for treatment if necessary," said Dan Saskowski, manager of Trinity cardiac rehab

Free heart screenings will be at Trinity Rock Island on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00PM. They also will have free screenings at the same time Tuesday night at Trinity Moline, and next Monday at Trinity Bettendorf.
