The man running for Iowa's next US senate seat, was in the Quad Cities Saturday speaking to a group of supporters.
"I couldn't think of a better place to make the first political speech of my senate race here at the Red White and Blue Dinner in Davenport with all of my friends," said Democratic Representative Bruce Braley.
It was a politically star studded night in Iowa for the Democrats' red white and blue dinner, an event to get together candidates from all over the state, and to look back on accomplishments.
"Tonight we're really gathering together to celebrate or successes in 2012, but also to get ready and prepare for 2014," said Tyler Olson the Iowa Democratic Party chair.
Democratic Representative Dave Loebsack was also there Saturday night just hours after he announced his endorsement for Representative Braley.
