Davenport man faces even more charges

A Davenport man accused of beating up a woman is facing even more charges.
 
Police say 41-year-old James Schildberg kidnapped, sexually assaulted and tried to strangle, a woman December 26th at his apartment on North Fairmount Street.

They say Schildberg held the woman captive for more than 14 hours.

He was already in the Scott County jail on lesser charges for this incident, when prosecutors interviewed the victim again, they decided to file more serious charges.
