Fire in Rock Island

A house in Rock Island went up in flames Friday morning.

Officials tell us that the house that caught fire on 14th St and 15 Ave was turned into apartments.

14th St and 15th Ave have been blocked off while firefighters put out the blaze.

Officials say the fire was started in one of the first floor bedrooms. They also say that no one was injured.

The house is most likely going to have to be destroyed according to officers on the scene.
