QC Color Run sold out

The Quad Cities 2013 Color the Quads run has sold out.

3,000 5K participants and 250 Kids' Color Dash participants have signed up only six weeks after registration opened.

The race allows runners and walkers to get splashed with bursts of color powder as they complete the course.

The event is sponsored by Mel Foster Co and will benefit two local organization; the YMCA Youth Solutions and the Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities.

The Color the Quads run will take place on Saturday June 1 at 4:00pm in Bettendorf.
