Davenport considers adding a ferris wheel and carousel

Today the Davenport Levee Improvement Commission will talk about the possibility of adding a ferris wheel and carousel to the riverfront.

The potential new rides would go in near Modern Woodmen Park.

The River Bandits say they're working with the city to map out a plan on where to put the attractions.

Today Davenport Mayor Bill Gluba and Dave Heller,the managing partner for the River Bandits, will make a presentation to the commission.

That meeting is at 2:00PM Wednesday afternoon.
