Rita Crundwell, the former Dixon comptroller who admitted to stealing $53 million will hear exactly how her actions have hurt the small Illinois city.
At least six public officials are expected to read statements from victims at Crundwell's sentencing this Thursday.
Crundwell used the money to fund her nationally renowned horse breeding operation.
She could face up to 20 years in prison for felony wire fraud. A state case is still pending against her.
