Fire forces elderly Davenport woman from her home

Flames force an elderly woman from her Davenport home Monday night. Firefighters said just after eight they were called to 4019 Telegraph Road.

When they got there, they said flames were spreading through the front part of the house.

Firefighters said the woman made it out okay, but she was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Crews said the home suffered a substantial amount of damage.
