You may have heard, or even felt wind ripping through the QCA.
Winds gusted more than 40 miles/hour Monday, bringing down large branches and trees in Davenport and Rock Island.
Local insurance agents say to stay on the lookout for any potential problems.
"Once safety is secured, the next thing is to make reasonable temporary repairs to remove the tree so no further damage happens," says Chris Salm, State Farm Insurance agent.
Agents also say you should take preventative measures like trimming back large branches or removing dead trees.
