A record 7,000 people checked out the Quad City home show this weekend.
Organizers say it's because people feel more confident about the economy and are now ready to take on projects.
For 35 years, builders, contractors, and remodelers come together to show off what they've got for homeowners.
Folks we talked to say they like having a one stop shop for everything homes.
"It makes it easier because we like to compare, so you get an idea of who has what products, so we like to see who has what and which is better for the price," says Judy Disney.
Folks say having the show in the winter gets them excited to get going on their projects for spring.
