Non-profits in need of volunteers flocked to Southpark Mall today.
"It's a good opportunity for us to get the word out about our group and what we do and how we serve the citizens of Rock Island County through our efforts," said Marilyn Andress of the Interstate RC & D.
Over 30 vendors set up booths this afternoon for nonprofit day.
The organizations ranged from church groups, to social service groups, to conservation groups.
Vendors said it was a great opportunity to get exposure, and talk to people face to face about what they do.
"I've actually talked to quite a few families that have family members with autism, also some teachers," said Anne Holtan of the Royal Ball Run for Autism.
