A staple in the Rock Island district community is coming back.
The hot dog lady retired last year, after 20 years of service. Now, Momma Compton's says they're bringing the stand back, offering brats, hot dogs and burgers.
The store manager says she can't wait to see the new stand in action.
"It kind of exciting and fun," says Psyndy Compton-Muse, manager. "We can keep thinking of all these things we can do to tweak it to make it more fun and we're really looking forward to it."
The manager says she hopes to see the hot dog stand up and running in April.
