EcoArts gallery opens in Rock Island

A new business is officially open in downtown Rock Island.  The Zola Gallery held a ribbon cutting this Friday afternoon for its grand opening.  Located in the 'Shoppes on Second' retail incubator, this is the gallery's first retail location.  Zola's is also the Quad City's first 'eco arts' gallery.

"Green artists will be displaying their works and it could be anything that's green themed or celebrates nature and its inhabitants or perhaps environmental issues they're concerned about or even use natural found objects in their art works," said owner, Gracie Iaccarino.

You can check out the new Zola Gallery Saturday.  Business hours are from 10 am to 4 pm.
