Park View mom accused of beating child

A Park View, Iowa mom has been arrested, accused of beating up her child. Daveshia Morgan, 23, was taken into custody Friday. But the investigation began on Wednesday, when school officials called police after finding welts and bruises on her 5-year-old child. Police said Morgan hit the child repeatedly with a belt and her fists. She's being held in the Scott County Jail on $5,000.
