The River Center
in Davenport is
full of 150 cars because the Iowa Illinois Regional Auto Show is in town.
The
auto show features many different makes and styles of cars, and showcases new
in–car technology.
Even
if you're not crazy about cars there will be other fun events throughout the
weekend.
Each
day there will be a green screen photo booth, on Saturday there will be
adoptable pets from a local shelter, on Sunday's family day there will be a
petting zoo, and more.
Show
coordinator Susan Shrader says there's no better place to be this weekend,
especially with the winter weather.
"It's
that time of the year where winter's been on us for a while and people just
want to get out. So why not come and kick a few tires, sit in the back seat,
sit in the third seat, sit in a car you'd always dreamed you'd love to own,"
said Shrader.
The
auto show is open on Friday and Saturday from10:00AM to 9:00PM and on Sunday
from 10:00AM to 5:00PM at the River Center. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $3 for
children.
