Car accident in Davenport

A section of Jersey Ridge Road had to be closed off Thursday morning after an accident.  

The road was closed off after two police responded to the accident just before 2:30AM in Davenport.

A car hit a power pole on Jersey Ridge Rd where it goes under Locust St.  

Police tell us the driver was not there when they arrived and the accident is under investigation.

MidAmerican was called to restore power to the area
