Iowa lawmakers are continuing their debate on what they should do with a nearly billion dollar surplus.
Today, the state house talked about a Republican backed bill that would use the surplus funds to provide taxpayers a $369 tax credit.
Republicans say it's the fairest way to deal with the excess money.
But Democrats are questioning the plan, saying it would be better to spend the money on services and infrastructure.
