The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says some QCA cities are dumping too much waste into the Mississippi.

On Wednesday night the Davenport Committee of the Whole will take a look at an order from the DNR.

The order outlines changes that need to be made to the sewer system, and a timeline for these changes.

The DNR and EPA are working with Bettendorf, Davenport, Riverdale, and Panorama Park. All the cities have to approve the plan before they can start working.

The Bettendorf Committee of a Whole went over the order at their meeting on Monday night.

They're scheduled to vote on the issue at their City Council meeting on February 19th.
