Small town swindler, Rita Crundwell's Dixon ranch is staying in the family.
Her nephew, Richard Humphrey Junior and his wife have bought the horse ranch for a little over $1 million.
Crundwell, the former Dixon comptroller, is said to have used some of the $53 million she admitted to stealing from the city to build a world renowned horse breeding operation there.
The Humphreys say they will use the 88 acre site to expand their show cattle business.
Crundwell is scheduled to be sentenced next week.
