Final Arguments in Murder Trial of Landlord

Closing arguments began today in the trial of a man accused of killing an Iowa City Landlord.

Justin Marshall is charged with murdering John Versypt of Cordova.

Versypt was shot in 2009 while tending to one of his properties in Iowa City.

Marshall, was one of three men arrested for the murder. Charles Thompson pleaded guilty last June for taking part in the crime. The trial for Courtney White has been delayed until the spring.
