A Davenport woman who ran a day care out of her home has been charged with helping her boyfriend make meth in the same house.

Amanda Taylor is charged with Child Endangerment, Gathering for use of Drugs, Possession of Controlled Substance, and having meth making materials.

According to police records, Taylor provided pseudoephedrine pills and other meth making materials to Dale Blumer, who is already facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Tracking logs showed that Taylor tried to buy meth making materials at least forty times between June and December of 2012.  On twenty-four of those attempts she was turned away.

On December 30th of last year police served a search warrant at 2706 West 60th Street in Davenport.  Police say Taylor ran to a bedroom to warn Blumer that the police were there, then helped him to gather up meth making materials in an attempt to throw them away.

Amanda Taylor had run a licensed day care out of the residence at the same time police say she was helping to make the drug.  One of the children who attended the day care tested positive for exposure to meth.
