Iowa Governor Terry Branstad is headed to Davenport on Tuesday for a discussion about the Mississippi River.
He will take part in a panel discussion over the importance of the river and the Iowa economy.
The governor will join members of the Farm Bureau, the Economic Development Authority, the Department of Natural Resources, and the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce.
They plan to discuss concerns about the locks and damns, and also how to make progress and manage the river system.
There will also be a time for public comment.
They
will be at the Gold Room of Hotel Blackhawk at 10:30AM on Tuesday.
