The Clinton Humane Society is out of luck, money, and could soon be out of business.
Monday night, Mayor Vulich vetoed two resolutions, one to create a committee which would have worked with the shelter to cut costs and stay open, the other to draft a new contract.
Both of which could have saved the humane society.
One alderman we talked to said there is no plan B for the shelter, and without money from the city, it will likely close.
