The River Valley District Library will be expanding.
There are three possible options on how to create more space.
According to their website one possibility is to expand the facilities at their current location, another is to renovate the old Port Byron High School Academy, and the third is to construct an entirely new building in Port Byron or Rapids City.
The Board of Trustees is asking for your input. Monday night there will be a public meeting with the architects at 5:30PM in the library meeting room so residents can weigh in on which site would be best.
The library is located at 214 S Main St, Port Byron, IL.
