QCA School Considering Armed Officer

A QCA school district is looking at ways to make your kids safer.

"It enhances security for anyone that enters the building of the property of the school, both the students and any other person," said Matt Fowler, a Wilton City Council member and parent.

Fowler is asking fellow council members and school administration to hire a full time resource officer.

If they approve it, he hopes to get the funds from a federal government grant.

Fowler said the area is safe, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
