Woman stabbed in Davenport

Davenport police are searching for a man they said stabbed a woman in Davenport Friday night.

They said it happened just before 10 p.m. at 3535 Main Street.  The woman, who's not being identified, told police the man stabbed her in the leg and tried to steal her purse.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Police are still searching for the suspect.
