Smoking Bag Found on Flight From QC Airport

A shocking discovery on a plane flying out of the Quad City International Airport.

Authorities say the cargo area filled with smoke Tuesday during the flight. It was able to land safely in Dallas.

Once the plane was on the ground, crews say they found the source, a smoking bag.

Firefighters took the suspicious bag off the plane and no one was injured. Officials with the Dallas-Fort Worth airport would not say what was found inside.
