A fire broke out at the Clinton County Bio-Energy Plant Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities said the blaze started in the process are outside of all the buildings. Apparently Soy oil caught on fire in the piping of the process area.
Crews were able to put out the fire within about 20 minutes, but the damage had already been done. The fire caused about $70,000 worth of damage.
No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The plant is located in a rural area of Clinton.
