Thousands of dollars have been mishandled in one tiny Iowa town.
A state audit shows $9,000 were misappropriated by officials in Buffalo.
Some of the money was reportedly used to pay the former assistant city clerk and city council members. Additional charges were made with the city's credit card.
But the auditor says it's impossible to figure out if any other money is missing because of inadequate records.
