One QCA School District may be taking safety to a whole new level.
During Monday night's Riverdale School Board Meeting, educators talked about the possibility of putting in bullet proof glass at the entrance of the elementary school.
The topic was tabled for the time being because of the cost.
The Superintendent said the idea was brought up shortly after the Sandy Hook shooting.
"Looking at the total picture and all of the things that we've been doing and considering doing in regards to school safety, this is just one other consideration," said Ron Jacobs, Riverdale School District Superintendent.
Board members will revisit the bullet proof glass idea at next month's meeting.
