Moline police have captured a wanted fugitive that they say held a woman and her family captive for hours and has been on the run for over two weeks.
Bryan Sharpe broke into his girlfriend's home on 11th Avenue C around 6:30 the morning of January 10th. Police say he held her and her kids in the house for two and a half hours.
Sharpe allegedly beat and choked his girlfriend, who had recently gotten an emergency restraining order against him. The victim's family came and confronted Sharpe around 9 A.M.
Police say Sharpe attacked them and hurt a child before running away.
Officers arrested Sharpe around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. Details of his capture are not yet available.
