Early morning power outage

Almost 10,000 people in the Quad Cities were without power early Tuesday morning.

The power went out around 5:30AM mainly on the Illinois side of the Quad Cities in Moline.

The power was down while MidAmerican Energy was making repairs at a substation.

Power was restored for most by 7:00AM.
