Car accident in Moline

A car accident took out a railroad track crossing arm in Moline early Tuesday morning.

Just before 4:00AM a young woman veered off the road and into the crossing arm at the railroad tracks near 4th Ave and 23rd St.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The car was totaled, and gasoline spilled out onto the road. Local firemen blocked off the road to clean up the gas and other debris.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.
