Ski Snowstar Timing System to Debut Wednesday

On your mark, get set, go!

Starting this Wednesday, skiers and snowboarders can hit the slopes and face off at Ski Snowstar.

The Winter Sports Park will debut a brand new timing system that lets anyone take part in a new race series. With warm weather closing the park today, organizers say they will be hard at working getting things ready.

"It's just an ugly day and we decided we'll just sit the next few days out," said Ed Meyer, General Manager for Ski Snowstar. "Reopen Wednesday morning when it's cold again and get everything looking good."

The races will take place every Wednesday night at 6:30. It costs $5 for anyone with a lift ticket.
