Truck Rollover in Moline Kills Pigs Inside

A truck carrying more than 175 pigs rolls over near Moline.

The accident happened around 3:30 Monday on the interchange of Interstates 74 and 280.

Police say while they don't know exact totals, they do know that some pigs were killed or injured.

The accident slowed down traffic on the interchange while crews worked the scene. Rescue crews say it's going to be difficult to transfer all the hogs.

The driver was not injured. The remaining pigs were being moved onto a truck that had to come in from Joslin.
