Talks continue over Davenport's upcoming budget.
Aldermen worked through the day today listening to several businesses make their pitch for funding.
Among them, the Putnam Museum asked for $250,000 for operating costs and to help bring in blockbuster exhibits.
The Quad Cities Visitors and Convention Bureau, the RiverCenter, the Levee commission and Cablevision also made pitches; no decisions were made.
Work sessions continue next Saturday and the budget will be finalized in early March.
No matter what, davenport aldermen say property taxes will not rise this year.
