A Muscatine couple are camping out in front of a Walmart for
the sixth year in a row.
Don and Debbie Reinier are collecting money for their Camping
for the Kids und drive, which will help kids with cancer at the University of Iowa
Children's Hospital.
The Reiniers host Camping for the Kids in honor of their son
Ben, who died at age ten in 2003.
They said helping other kids with cancer, makes them feel
closer to him.
"Raising money for other kids is a huge coping tool for
us. Our community blessed us with help
when we needed it the most for Ben, and this is a way we can pay it forward to
help other kids," said mom Debbie.
Tomorrow's the last day the Reinier's will be out braving
the cold.
They'll be at the Muscatine Walmart from 10 am to 3pm.
